In Siegfried Lenz's novel "Heimatmuseum", the concept of home takes on a very central meaning, even from today's perspective. The loss of home and a new beginning somewhere else: is one possible without the other? How far can you take your homeland with you to a new place after displacement, or even preserve it? What was the East-West flight after the Second World War is unfortunately once again a topic in the many theaters of war around the world today. This story of an escape, embedded in the beautiful language of Lenz, combined with the portrayal of his affectionate but also bizarre characters, is a world premiere of a special category!
