In the ruins of an abandoned city, a young girl guards a large, mysterious egg. She lives in seclusion near the gloomy walls, surrounded by shadows that roam the ruined world. One day, a young man enters her secluded life. At first she meets him with suspicion, but slowly a fragile connection develops. Together they roam the surroundings, talk about strange, elusive topics and discover the remains of past civilizations - fossils, works of art, traces of lost knowledge. With each passing day, their reality seems to shift. When the girl finally confides her biggest secret to the boy, everything takes an unexpected turn - and leaves her with questions to which there may be no answers.
