Heldinnen wie wir

In the organizer's words:

Texts will be read by women born between 1927 and 2007 in Wurzen, Bandar Anzali, Königsberg, Masshad and Serres, among other places. The texts were written between 2022 and 2024 in a writing workshop organized by the Netzwerk für demokratische Kultur e. V. Wurzen in cooperation with the author Anna Kaleri and tell of childhood, family, rebellion, arrival in Germany, challenges and community. Texts that give an insight into the diversity of women's lives, that touch and "take away"... and bring people into conversation with each other.
