There is no more fitting way to spend the carnival season: with a firework display of nonsense, surprises and improvisation - and a musical mix of styles that is second to none. Helge Schneider will be gracing the Isarphilharmonie with his latest program Ein Mann und seine Musik - and it will be interesting to see what he means by that. People will certainly be looking back, because Helge Schneider is turning 70.
He himself says: "I would never have thought when I was born that I would be 70! What a welcome surprise!" The band plucks and plays the most beautiful of his compositions. The creative maverick himself will sing, dance, play the trumpet, xylophone, piano and saxophone - and of course get up to all sorts of nonsense. So if you want to see Helge Schneider again, don't miss out!
