Jan. Jan Sedgwick. Mr. Sedgwick. Or would you prefer Mr. Jan? At least that's what
is what children called him during his time as an adventure teacher.
Mr. Jan - who prefers to be called by his first name - liked this name and used it in his musical work The music of Mr. Jan can be described as: many genres, many feelings.

From the tenderness of singer-songwriter pop, the relaxed nature of reggae and the exuberance of hip-hop, Mr. Jan develops detailed compositions and polyphonic melodies. He creates musical landscapes for equally inviting, thoughtful and empowering themes that most families know both from everyday life and from conversations about the big questions in life. The broad field of emotions is given a special place here.

This also applies to Mr. Jan's songs and so, together with his super band in trio to quintet formation, he never misses an opportunity to play his songs live at festivals,
open airs or clubs, where he raps, sings and talks about life on stage between stage piano, kazoo and guitar.

"With my Superband, we take the audience on an adventure and create an atmosphere that is good for you and really fun. My concerts are real and guaranteed without playback, because everyone has a right to good live music."

His songs are played up and down on children's radio, he can be seen time and again on the KiKa TV channel, was chosen as the jury winner of the German Children's Song Prize 2018 and 2019 and received the first Audience Award from the renowned Christiane Weber Foundation. With this tailwind and new songs in his luggage, he is traveling across Germany.
