Like a date with friends

When does a band achieve cult status? After around 20 years of existence and excellent networking in the city, Herrenmagazin is cult, at least in Hamburg - despite or perhaps because of a 10-year break between releases. On the album "Du hast hier nichts verloren" (You haven't lost anything here) released in April 2025, the four-piece band has evolved and yet remained true to itself: handmade indie rock, lots of guitar, a pinch of punk and lyrics with wit, depth and a bit of rebellion.
