What once started out in an old men's sauna (hence: Herrensauna)in Berlin as a spontaneous private queer party without skyhigh ambitions has become a global phenomenon pushing hard-edged and queer dance music culture, stepped in a martial, yet flamboyant and queer set of acute aesthetics. > I think it was something that was created more out of a spontaneous feeling and the urge to provide a more intimate atmosphere, and of course, to create a party for us and our friends. We didn't decide to find a new techno-platform in this city with a particularly strong concept. < explained MCMLXXXV Herrensauna's humble ambitions. From there, it's honest ambitions in the middle of the 2010, the series now spans global events and imprints and of course: cutting edge music.
