Born shortly after the Second World War in a small village in Austria, a trained hairdresser, mother of two and soon to be a divorced wife - the circumstances promise a predetermined life for Herta Lueger. But she takes matters into her own hands. She finds freedom in Munich, works as a dominatrix and the 'Caprice' she runs becomes a hotspot for erotic entertainment in the early 1980s. The women who work there are allowed to decide for themselves what they do and with whom. But then a young woman named Aline, whom Herta Lueger had procured, dies at the hands of a john.
