Hey Julis! – Releasekonzert „Significant Bother“

With the release of their debut album "Significant Bother" (out February 7, 2025), the alt-pop/progressive pop band Hey Julis! has finally taken a musical stand: With the unadorned power of vulnerability, they take their listeners on an exploratory journey through the chaos of inner resistance - creating the extraordinary Hey Julis! sound that moves and connects their fans.

With "Significant Bother" they show the full range of their art: courageous, honest, colorful and free. With Hey Julis!, dreamy, jazzy melodies not only coexist alongside electronic sounds and rocking electric guitars, they are mutually dependent. The result is a space to be allowed to be, to let go, to lose yourself and find yourself again.
One track almost didn't make it onto the album: "Different on TV" - a song about the realization that the beautiful world that is presented to us in the media has absolutely nothing to do with human experience. "With this song, we were unsure whether we wanted to share it, whether we really wanted to show ourselves to be so vulnerable. Yet it is precisely this vulnerability that we want to live and that makes "Different on TV" so strong," the two of them explain.

"Significant Bother" is one of their major milestones. It is an album that challenges, inspires and proves the status quo: Authenticity is the new strength we can all draw on.

To celebrate the release of their debut album, Hey Julis! invite you to an exclusive release concert at the Pumpe. Fans can also support the album and get a vinyl record with two bonus tracks.
