HfMDK Soulband / Frankfurt

In the organizer's words:

What began at the HfMDK in the summer of '22 as a flawless soul band, with a combo based on more or less well-known gems from the 1960s and 70s, has now evolved into a broad-based working crew - or even a soul big band, given the number of participants.

The special sound and passion of the 20 musicians and singers, who adapt various stylistic devices from the soul genre and apply them to their favorite songs of the moment, are indeed written in capital letters ("Big").

The concert evening presents the promising transformation from pure cover music to their own profile.

It's about the joy of playing, it's about SOUL.

Students of the HfMDK pay 5 € admission at the Box Office upon presentation of their university ID.
