In the organizer's words:

LIVE YOUR INNER CHILD!
POP, ELECTRO AND BAROQUE WITH COUNTERTENOR, CELLO AND DANCE

Let's play with our needs! A countertenor and a cellist bring us seductively beautiful pieces from the Baroque and Romantic periods, as well as pop songs.
Then the sounds slowly evolve into something new: we pick up the melodies with electronics, distort them, pour them into other forms and give them new textures.
A dancer performs behind a shadow wall - in a choreography that plays with the desires of our inner child. An evening full of suggestion, physicality and longing.

With works by the Beatles, Billie Eilish, Georg Friedrich Händel, Tigran Hamasayan, Kate Moore, Radiohead, Clara Schumann and Antonio Vivaldi.

WALK INTO THE HIDALGO DEPARTMENT STORE!
Our 2024 festival headquarters is the former department store at Stachus. The interim use B-Tween is currently transforming the building into a place for art, culture and events.
We invite you to our events on one of the upper floors - if you cannot use the stairs and need an elevator, please write us a short email beforehand (mail@hidalgofestival.de) or give us a call (089 4444 3184 0).
