With "Hidden Fresco", Lyrik Sound & Co presents a format between recitation, art lesson and concert with Leonardo da Vinci's texts from his treatise on painting, which became an inspiration for the surrealists many centuries later. It is primarily about looking at old, weathered walls and the ability of the imagination to recognize faces, landscapes and the like in the random shapes that can be seen there and to be able to create them artistically later. Leonardo also described this in his poetically formulated method with the ringing of a multitude of bells, in whose confusion of sounds one thinks one can hear human voices. Hidden Fresco" features new experimental music on instruments from the Renaissance and the Middle Ages.
