Anniversary platform for contemporary dance in Munich

An artist-for-artist initiative by Johanna Richter and Birgitta Trommler - a format of Tanztendenz München

In 2025, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of "HERE = NOW", a platform for promoting young choreographers and dancers in Munich!
For two weeks from April 21 to May 4, 2025, 10 participants - choreographers - will be provided with free studios at Tanztendenz, Iwanson International and schwere reiter for rehearsals so that they can work in an open laboratory under professional conditions for piece development and have the opportunity to try out and discuss their work beyond budget and production pressure. Finally, we will present their work sketches to the public as a work in progress on two evenings in very different "open space" performances.

The "OPEN 2" will be followed by the presentation of the audience award.
