With her podcast "Hip Hop Lebt - Der 360° Kultur Podcast", Julia Gröschel has built up one of the most exciting platforms for German-language hip hop culture over the last 2.5 years. In conversations with OG Keemo, Curse, Funkvater Frank, Takt32, Toxik, Chimperator, Marina Buzunashvilli, Juse Ju, Patrick Mushatsi-Kareba and many more, she combines music, business and personal stories and takes an authentic look at the hip-hop scene.

At the splash! Festival (Fairropolis Stage), Julia and her guest Dr. Heidi Süß talk about images of masculinity and female self-empowerment in hip hop - and how the scene is changing.

Prof. Dr. Heidi Süß holds a doctorate in sociology, is the founder of the Berlin Institute for Pop Culture and Rap Research and is currently a professor of social work at the International University of Applied Science in Braunschweig. Having grown up with hip hop, she deals with topics such as gender, feminism, racism and pop culture in books and lectures - and is also a boxing coach.
