Hitsujibungaku - Live 2025

Japanese indie rock band Hitsujibungaku are coming to Germany for the first time in October 2025 with two exclusive shows in Berlin and Cologne. If you like detailed indie rock with depth and character, you shouldn't miss these dates.

The trio has been one of the most interesting bands on the Japanese indie scene for several years. Singer and guitarist Moeka Shiotsuka, bassist Yurika Kasai and drummer Hiroa Fukuda make music that doesn't have to be loud to be intense. Their songs tell of loneliness, inner chaos, hope, closeness and the attempt to cope in an overwhelming world without slipping into clichés. What makes them special is that elusive moment when a song is suddenly more than just a song and simply sticks with you.

On stage, it's less about show effects and more about their captivating music. Anyone who experiences Hitsujibungaku live quickly realizes that no great fanfare is necessary. It's all about the songs, the feeling behind them and the connection to the audience. Two concerts - a band you won't forget.
