Tribute to Benny Goodman & Lionel Hampton

The Holger Werner Swing Assembly presents classic jazz and swing à la Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton with great enthusiasm and enormous freshness. The band's sound is characterized by the extremely sophisticated instrumentation of the varied selection of pieces.

Driven by the irresistible drive of the piano, bass and drums, the virtuoso melody lines of the clarinet, vibraphone and guitar take on an almost playful lightness and elegance.

But the musicians also know how to strike a lyrical note in quiet pieces. The interplay of original and original arrangements constantly opens up new scope for interaction and creative solos by the musicians.
