In proven cooperation with Zwischenfall 2.0, Monday On Moon and Northern Beach invite you to the second edition of Hometown's Best at the train station.
Rock'n'Roll is bigger than all of us...!!!! One is not one! Two is just one more. But three? That's a fucking band! ... that's what NORTHERN BEACH thought in 1992, and from then on they put their heart and soul into composing catchy songs about the ups and downs of everyday life, around the corner or in the Oval Office. Rooted in early indie and punk rock, the trio toured the stages in the west of Germany for a long time and didn't stop at living rooms and barns. As openers for scene greats such as The Members, Clox, The Movement and Spitfires, Northern Beach played their way into the hearts of their fan base and are now ending their live performance where it all began after more than 30 years.
The Langendreere veterans MONDAY ON MOON played a key role in the organization of "Rock an den Gleisen", the open-air events on Wallbaumweg at the start of the millennium, where numerous bands from their home town were able to present themselves to the audience just a few metres away. After a few line-up changes, the band now plays variable alternative rock with influences from BritPop, punk and psychedelic sounds. Walls of guitars meet lively beats and sensitive voices, boredom is out of the question.
The evening will be accompanied by the local Third Hand Vinyl Shop, which will be offering second-hand records from admission and representing the music capital of Langendreer with sound carriers.
