Welcome to the Lynch universe - the world that is intangible. Bizarre, mesmerizing horror thriller!

Jazz saxophonist Fred Madison's (Bill Pullman) marriage is on the rocks. When he is arrested after a party and accused of murdering his wife Renee (Patricia Arquette), he ends up on death row. But why is the young mechanic Pete Dayton suddenly in Fred's cell while he has disappeared without a trace? And why does the gangster's girlfriend Mr. Eddy look like the murdered Renee, his wife?
Amid severe headaches and visions of the mystery man, it soon becomes apparent that all are lost, trapped in their own destiny... on the Lost Highway!

Lost Highway bears David Lynch's very own and very special signature and is considered a precursor to the celebrated Mulholland Drive (2001), which was released shortly afterwards. The typically mysterious Lynch sound was provided by his long-time artistic companion Angelo Badalamenti, who composed the unforgettable sounds for Lynch's cult series "The Secret of Twin Peaks" and "Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me", among others.
