After a car accident, a mysterious woman (Laura Herring) wanders bloodied and without memory through Hollywood at night and finds shelter in an apartment inhabited by the young actress Betty (Naomi Watts). She actually wants to make a career in Hollywood, but agrees to help the distraught beauty in her search for her memory and her dark secret.
Together, she and her new friend are plunged into a surreal maelstrom of Lynchian events, visions and disturbances.
