MOVE String Quartet

The MOVE String Quartet is reshuffling the cards. Now it's getting exciting.

String quartet? Yes. Jazz band? Also. Somewhere good in between? Exactly.

The Berlin-based MOVE String Quartet mixes classical sound culture with the drive of a groove jazz combo - and creates a rich, earthy sound that is anything but ordinary. Sometimes elegant, sometimes wild, just different.

Forget dusty concert hall vibes - here strings groove, pick like guitars and build songs that surprise and touch.

Ha! And the usual second fiddle? Carlos Bica plays the double bass for them. Deep. Warm. Unmistakable.
