Horst Evers and friends
Horst Evers tells feather-light stories of the finest quality and is joined by Lara Ermer, Philipp Scharrenberg, Nektarios Vlachopoulos and Dietmar Wischmeyer.
Author, presenter and comedienne Lara Ermer has been writing for as long as she can remember. She manages to talk humorously about supposed taboos and hit the sore points of a polarized society. This is also the case in her new book "Alle gegen Alle" - a clever contribution to the culture of debate and an extremely funny read at the same time.
Dietmar Wischmeyer is also working his way through the present: his new book "Vergeigt, verkackt, versemmelt" takes a pretty ruthless look at German reality since the turn of the millennium and asks what is actually going on: Nothing is as it used to be, the turn of the times is turning against us in everyday life and, on the whole, against all reason. Greenwashing, pinkwashing and brainwashing rule the world, and in between everyone is trying to apply for victim status on the Titanic in time. Dietmar Wischmeyer at least manages to find the funny side to the horror.
Philipp Scharrenberg has long since made a name for himself as a humorous poet with his penchant for rhyme and wordplay. His latest work, "Officially Disreputable Book", proves that his texts do not necessarily have to rhyme in order to generate light-hearted flashes of humor. The award-winning cabaret artist presents a colorful collection of texts from fifteen years: When weirdos from spider space hide out in Uncle Trump's hut, aged professional teenagers with attention deficit disorder explain to their smart home how to eat Toffifee properly and Schrödinger's cat meets Pavlov's dog for coffee, the result is clearly an officially disreputable book.
Finally, slam poet and humorist Nektarios Vlachopoulos incorporates his experiences as a former German teacher with a Greek integration background into his texts and takes an intelligent and witty look at the coexistence of cultures in his book "Niemand weiß, wie man mich schreibt".
