HOSPITALITY BETWEEN FOLDS. Reihe für Gastliche Literatur. Dritte Falte

The program is in dialogue with the exhibition Embracing the Fold by Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel.

Under the title Hospitality between Folds , a three-part series for guest literature will take place in the Temporary Gallery. This is not only based on the name of the current exhibition Embracing the Fold. The content of the program is also based on the works of artists Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel. Readings and talks, with performance and sound, will deal with the theme of hospitality and bring it together with the idea of the fold, the folded and the folding. The series will be curated and moderated by the author Maria Babusch, invited by the curator of the exhibition, Lisa Klosterkötter.

After two events with local protagonists, the Guest Literature series will conclude with a visit from Berlin: The author and artist I.V. Nuss will be our guest on 07.08.2025 . During her reading of current texts, as well as a screening of her video work I really want to go to Anthrocon 2025 , she will ask about the folds in fur dresses and the queerness of hospitality and will thus raise the third fold.
