HOSPITALITY BETWEEN FOLDS. Reihe für Gastliche Literatur. Erste Falte

The program is in dialogue with the exhibition Embracing the Fold by Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel.

Under the title Hospitality between Folds, a three-part series for guest literature will take place in the Temporary Gallery. This is not only based on the name of the current exhibition Embracing the Fold. The content of the program is also based on the works of artists Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel. Readings and talks, with performance and sound, will deal with the theme of hospitality and bring it together with the idea of the fold, the folded and the folding. The series will be curated and moderated by the author Maria Babusch, invited by the curator of the exhibition, Lisa Klosterkötter.

On 23.06. the first of the three folds will open. Our first guests are the poet Yohan Holtkamp and the sound artist Farah Wind. Yohan will read from his long poem Langer Regen (Long Rain), which takes us on an intoxicating odyssey through inner and outer mountains. Farah Wind will play the synthesizer and introduce us to music as a landscape of virtuoso uncertainty.
