Human Beans don't fit into any pigeonhole, so they've created their own: folk niche punk. What is that supposed to be? This band comes and tears it up: with lyrics between English and German - sometimes shouted, sometimes sung - plenty of humor, attitude and style.

Canis809 is a black child of the Ruhr Valley - shaped by a region where hard work and rough charm meet multicultural influences. In his songs, he processes his experiences as part of the African diaspora and talks about identity, resistance and social realities. He does not shy away from expressing his political views confidently and directly.
Musically, he moves between soulful depth and uncompromising, powerful beats - always with unfiltered honesty. He is often accompanied by his DJ "Herr W".
