"Hundswetter" by Brigitte Buc

Helene (Nathalie Dudzik) is a tough businesswoman, self-sacrificing wife and mother. Lulu (Josie Ludwig), on the other hand, is a single mother and works in a lingerie store. Gabrielle (Susanne Wiechert-Niepmann) is single, addicted to tablets, unemployed and depressed.

One morning in September, these three women meet by chance in a Parisian café due to the bad weather. A lack of space and Helene's burnout bring them closer together faster than they would like. Initially strained helpfulness and false politeness turn into a spirited get-together that doesn't end until the next day. With the help of champagne and co., illusions are ruthlessly shattered, weaknesses revealed and entire life plans thrown overboard. All under the watchful eye of the disgruntled and mocking waiter (Etienne Pattberg), who has trouble keeping the three wild women in check. One thing is certain - afterwards, everything is different and everyone involved returns to their lives a little transcended.
