The IBA'27 in the Stuttgart city region

With clever and bold building projects, the International Building Exhibition aims to show how living and working together in the Stuttgart region will work in the future.

Launched in 2017, the IBA'27 team is working together with administrations, investors, experts and local people to implement the best ideas. In 2027, exactly one hundred years after the globally acclaimed architectural show at Stuttgart's Weissenhof, IBA'27 will present its results in a major exhibition.

The second IBA'27 Festival marks another milestone on the way to the International Building Exhibition 2027 in the Stuttgart Region. It brings together projects, people and ideas - and makes visible how a sustainable future worth living in can be built.

Minister President Winfried Kretschmann has taken on the patronage of the festival. In his welcoming message, he emphasized the relevance of the format.

"The second IBA'27 Festival is more than just a stage for architecture - it is a place where visions for a sustainable future become tangible. That's why I was delighted to take on the patronage of this festival."
