Ida The Young is an indie folk/alt-rock band from the Czech Republic. It was formed when London-based singer Iris Hobson-Mazur moved to Pilsen and met guitarist Marek Koliha.

In addition to the founding duo, the band today consists of Filip Simon (drums), Pavel Kielberger (bass, guitar, synthesizer) and Jakub Richtárech (keys). They are not afraid to experiment with different textures and genres, which can be heard on their indie-folk influenced debut EP Strange Shaped Flowers (2023) and also on their latest, more electronic-influenced second EP Silver Thing (2024, released on Korobushka Records).
They have played at a number of the biggest alternative festivals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including Beseda u Bigbítu, Sharpe Festival and Vivat Vila, as well as at many other concerts (also in Germany and Austria).
In 2025 they will record their first full-length album and go on their first European tour.
