Our philosophy
The IGL running group is an informal group of recreational runners who run for physical and mental balance. We meet three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Our meeting is not only for training, but also for socializing and exchanging experiences. We don't run against each other, but together in several groups. We have several coaches at our disposal, whereby the running pace in each group is generally determined by the slowest runner. However, there is no entitlement to a coach for a particular group or running speed.
Some of our running club participants also take part in running competitions.
We usually train for a half marathon/marathon in spring and fall and take part in various running competitions together and individually.
Our group of walkers/Nordic walkers is growing steadily. We also have a running group supervisor.
