Opera times three: from tragic to cheerful

Giacomo Puccini juxtaposed three different stories in his opera triptych - in a new order in Dietrich W. Hilsdorf in a new order: from the comedy "Gianni Schicchi", set in 1299, in which a cunning peasant outwits a gang of legacy hunters, to the Renaissance drama of "Suor Angelica", a nun who is driven mad by her fellow nuns, to the jealousy tragedy "Il tabarro", set in working-class Paris at the beginning of the 20th century.
A Puccini evening that vividly shows us the failure of all human interaction and ends with a shrill cry of horror.
