Ilz River Gang

Dixieland: There are only a few bands in Germany that still cultivate this music from the early days of jazz as carefully and present it in such a rousing way as the Ilz River Gang.
This band, which was once founded in a living room on the River Ilz, has been around for 45 years and its members are the best proof that music keeps you incredibly young.

Every first Friday of the month, they take their audience on a nostalgic journey at the Café Museum. "When You're Smiling", "Creole Love Call", "Sentimental Journey" or "Ice Cream" - the Ilz River Gang brings evergreens to the stage with great ease, enthusiasm and good humor and inspires with their "hot solos" across the generations.
