Im Gespräch: Christiane Eisler und Jana Schloßer

In the organizer's words:

On the last day of the Past Pleasures exhibition, photographer Christiane Eisler will be a guest at the Eierhäuschen.

In the 1980s, Eisler experienced and documented the wild beginnings of the punk movement in the GDR, mainly in Leipzig and Berlin. For her photo series Kulturpark, she accompanied a group of punks through the Kulturpark in Plänterwald. The result was unique photographs of exuberant gatherings and concerts as well as personal portraits.

Christiane Eisler invited Jana Schloßer to the interview. She was the singer of the East Berlin punk rock band Namenlos, a protagonist in Eisler's photographs and has visited the Kulturpark many times. Together they will talk about Eisler's work, the life of punks in the GDR and the significance of the park for the scene.
