As part of the research focus "Art, Environment, Ecology" at the Central Institute for Art History, Juliane Rebentisch and Maria Muhle will discuss the role of ecological themes in contemporary art. What are the settings and ideas of the political that shape art today? And what political and theoretical ambivalences and aporias are evident in the artistic and art-historical 'resonance space of ecology'?
