Delschad Numan Khorshid has been a member of the Residenztheater ensemble for six years and is known for his many productions. But he is also a border crosser between the arts: he photographs and writes and has published his work in exhibitions and books. Most recently, Schillo Verlag published the lavishly designed volume "Nirgendwo ist mein Zuhause" with poems, prose and photographs.

In it, Delschad Numan Khorshid provides poetic insights into his origins as a member of a minority group of Iraqis of Kurdish origin who lived near Iran and were subjected to political persecution. At the age of seventeen, he embarked on a two-year, life-threatening escape that led him to Munich and later to Berlin over twenty years ago. He was always helped by his will to survive and his unconditional desire to express himself artistically.
For the first time, he will read from his texts at the Residenztheater and talk about his artistic work.
