The young, uptight physics trainee Daniel from Hamburg falls in love with the beautiful Turkish girl Melek. When he learns that she is traveling to Istanbul, he spontaneously decides to follow her. A very atypical reaction for him. Because at home the students dance around his nose and he is overlooked in trendy stores: He's just a boring, vacuous guy. But all that is about to change.
