✨ Hello dear women! ✨
This workshop is specifically aimed at women who want more connection with other people - but are perhaps hesitant to allow closeness for fear of losing themselves in it or being overwhelmed. It offers you a safe space to gain new experiences with contact and boundaries.
Perhaps you are thinking about starting a dance course or going to dance parties, but are still unsure how to deal with physical closeness and contact? Then this workshop can be a wonderful preparation.
What you learn can also help you in existing relationships to stand up for your needs more clearly and create an authentic connection.
We will explore together through movement, mindful body awareness and playful exercises with closeness and boundaries:
✨ When does my body want to move - and when does it need rest?
✨ When do I want to make contact - and when would I rather not?
✨ How can I recognize and set my boundaries?
✨ How can I establish and allow connection without losing myself in the process?
The workshop is inspired by methods that I learned in the first part of my dance therapy training. My experience from free work with horses also flows into this workshop - especially the subtle work on presence, demarcation and building a respectful and trusting relationship. In addition, my experiences from various dance forms such as Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba, West Coast Swing and Ecstatic Dance also shape the workshop - forms of expression, connection and playing with closeness and distance. Last but not least, it was my own journey with closeness, self-awareness and relationship dynamics that inspired me to create this space for encounters - and to share my knowledge with you.
What you will take away:
✨ A strengthened self-awareness
✨ Clarity in dealing with closeness and boundaries
✨ Gentle testing of forms of communication
✨ Space for genuine, authentic encounters
