With driving rhythms and melancholic, profound lyrics, IMMER WIEDER WIRSING breaks genre boundaries.

The mixture of raw energy and emotional turmoil makes the sound tangible in its own way.

IMMER WIEDER WIRSING dropped their debut album "Gimme Glühwein" at the end of November 2024.

The record feels like the desperate search for meaning of lost souls on the dancefloor at 4:00 in the morning.
The beat pushes, the guitars rattle, basses push forward, while the lyrics sing about insecurities, relationship breakdowns and toxic behavior patterns.

The look into this abyss is forbiddenly fun and, with its brutal uncompromisingness, triXts the attentive listener straight into the racing shoegazing heart.

RIKA BENDER
is the space travel guide you can trust:
The Freiburg musician packs you into a synthpop time machine and takes you on a journey back to the 80s.

She has been writing songs with catchy melodies, electronic synthesizer sounds and nice guitar riffs since 2022.

The lyrics deal with dreams and desires, everyday topics and worries, fantasy and friendship, solidarity and positivity, which is perhaps not always familiar from her genre.
Her dark, deep voice floats over exaggerated, spherical sounds.

RIKA BENDER wants to touch people with her music.

The musician recently played a slot at the Zeltmusikfestival Freiburg, supporting Tamara Qaddoumi and Shimmer on stage.
Guitarist Fabi is now part of her live performances.

The singles "Slalom", "Minus 90 Grad" and "Unbequem" were released in 2024 via the Düsseldorf label K22.

Her song "Unbequem" was featured on the Apple playlists "Deutschpop", "New In Pop" and "Apartment 08/16".

RIKA BENDER is recommended for fans of Steintor Herrenchor, Nils Keppel or Leocardo DiNaprio and fits in perfectly with playlists such as "Insomnia" on Spotify.
