Imperial Triumphant / Sigh

A concert night with two outstanding bands of avant-garde metal. The Japanese metal legends Seigh and the New York trio Imperial Triumphant each stand for a cross-genre sound alchemy that combines different musical influences, ritual performance and contemporary sound extremes. The Japanese collective Sigh combines experimental extreme metal with traditional instruments such as the shakuhachi and taishogoto, combining symphonic and psychedelic elements with black metal and epic melodic metal. Imperial Triumphant stands for a bubbling fusion of jazz, black metal and electronic textures, which they splice into an atmospherically dense amalgam. With "Goldstar" (March 2025 on Century Media), Imperial Triumphant deepen their exploration of the extreme and arcane, delivering their most focused, authentic and accessible work to date.
