Flo Stoffner's current invitation is a logical continuation of collaborations with top artists on the instrument that have been cultivated for decades. His special relationship with Udo Schindler's electric guitar shaped his entry into music, which has been cultivated to this day as a by-product, concentrating in recent years on special stringed instruments such as mandolin and banjo.

A large number of collaborations with renowned guitarists are documented on recordings/downloads, including with Elliott Sharp, Andreas Willers, Sandy Ewen, Olaf Rupp, Stephan Richter, Nicola Hein, Gunnar Geisse, Johannes Öllinger, Carsten Radtke and a general affection for stringed instruments such as the violin, viola, cello and double bass.

The partner of the June concerts, Flo Stoffner from Switzerland, has gained a worldwide reputation in recent years. His radical playing style is characterized by a distinct individuality, encompassing the entire possible sound cosmos of the instrument from the noisy, rough, delicate and fragile ... open in all directions. The documented duos and trios with Schindler's fellow wind players, as mentioned below, are particularly appealing.

"Free improvisation at its best" is embodied by Swiss guitarist Flo Stoffner in a unique way. His way of playing the guitar, or rather deconstructing the guitar, is unmistakable and unique and has already been described as "a kind of autopsy of the guitar sound". Solo or in collaboration with musicians such as Paul Lovens, Rudi Mahall, John Butcher, Chris Corsano, Albert Cirera or Hans Koch, but also with spoken word artist Anna Frey, he has become one of the outstanding figures on the European improv scene. Looking backwards as well as forwards, he holds up the banner of instant composing and proves time and again how lively, surprising and up-to-date the tradition of free improvisation is today.

At the Giesinger Bahnhof cultural center, the duo will be joined by a trio. The synergetic, constructive and friendly cooperation between Udo Schindler & Eric Zwang Eriksson has existed for years. In recent years, many performances have been realized in very different line-ups, which required a high degree of flexibility, creativity and subtlety. His musical contributions are extraordinary. The THREE internationally active sound adventurers in a class of their own explore the connection between acoustic sound generators. The sound performance is a commitment to a spontaneous creative sound journey with a sound-exploring approach that goes far beyond the conventional connotations of the instruments (instant composing). Together, the musicians will create a sound space and produce the unheard. An improvised sound communication of equal voices, which - in condensation, overlapping or disentanglement - becomes an unmistakable collective sound. The formation of ephemeral, radical, genre- and cliché-free sound paintings can be experienced live.
