This unique workshop for musicians, dancers and other artists takes place under the direction of musician and author Simon Rose and dancer and choreographer Ingo Reulecke. Previous participants have included professional dancers and musicians, but also artists who work across disciplines, or those who are simply curious.
The workshop:
Taken together, these questions lead us to consider improvisation both as part of an environment and as a process for creating it. And while these are big questions, this process does not lose sight of the importance of simplicity, playfulness and inclusivity. This is how we develop our practice.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform in the new series The Imaginary Museum that evening. This is by no means compulsory, but rather an opportunity to try out ideas and collaborations and further develop the practice through public performance.
