The workshop is aimed on the one hand at people who are looking for an introduction to improvisation, and on the other hand at people who are interested in the methodology of unconditional improvisation and want to experience it in practice. For the latter, there is the opportunity to reflect together on the pedagogical approach after the specified workshop time.
This advanced workshop follows on from the basic course "Anyone can learn to improvise!" and deepens the experience with suitable further rules.
The topics covered include the three core skills of listening - experimenting - communicating, as well as the "compositional" aspect of improvisation and the question: How is exciting music created? What makes a good improvisation?
No previous instrumental or other musical knowledge is required for the working method presented here. The starting point for the musical activities is any possible way of producing sound, for which a wide range of small instruments and sounding materials are available. If you play your own instrument, you are of course welcome to include it.
The workshop is aimed both at players who want to expand their own improvisational skills and at multipliers who want to integrate musical improvisation into their professional educational or therapeutic work. For them, there is the opportunity to reflect together on the pedagogical approach after the specified workshop time.
