in be tween noise – a tribute to steve roden (1964–2023)

silent green presents

The American artist Steve Roden died on September 6, 2023. In his memory, singuhr - projekte and silent green are presenting the long-duration concert "in be tween noise" on April 27, 2025, Roden's 61st birthday. A selection of his music will be performed for eight hours in the Kuppelhalle. The concert will allow people to come, listen, leave and return quietly throughout the day.

Roden's poetic works between painting, sculpture, sound and video develop an individual and visionary aesthetic language. Through the integration of music, text, code, objects and instruments and by experimenting with field recordings and the act of listening itself, Roden creates his own unique connections between the artistic disciplines.
