From an acoustic trio to one of the most successful German rock bands. From an idea, hard work and unwavering faith to sold-out tours, trembling castles and loyal fans all over the world. With their gripping signature sound of modern rock and centuries-old influences, In Extremo have not only shaped a musical genre of their own, but have also developed into probably the most famous and successful medieval rock band in the world, captivating a global audience of millions. For almost three decades, the band has fascinated audiences with the infectious energy that comes from this unique blend: Between historical influences and the powerful sound of their metal guitars, between medieval instruments, folkloric-archaic as well as modern rhythms, sing-along anthems in German and dialect, between pure full throttle and goosebump-inducing melodies, so much more than music is created. It is an atmosphere, a feeling, a connection that makes them as unique as they are successful.

After seven albums that have been awarded precious metal (no less than four of which have reached number one in the German longplay charts), the tight-knit band have now reunited to drive away dark thoughts in uncertain times: "Wolkenschieber", a new album, will be released on 06.09.

One idea has always been at the forefront of their concerts: that of celebration, conviviality and community. Whether at early medieval market appearances or during big arena shows around the globe - especially at their concerts, a bond is created that has welded In Extremo closely together with their fans near and far over thirty exciting years.

With the "Wolkenschieber" tour, In Extremo will not only present their eagerly awaited new album live, but will also provide new courage, hope and plenty of good humor with their fast-flowing mixture of thrilling party and drinking songs, combative freedom songs and touching ballads.
