hand werk, founded in Cologne in 2011. The six-member chamber music ensemble stands for sustainability and recycling as well as for the highest artistic level in the field of contemporary music. hand werk has performed at festivals such as the Wittener Tage, Darmstadt Summer Courses, Bayreuth Festival, Ultraschall Berlin, NOW! Festival Essen, Acht Brücken Köln, impuls in Graz, Gaudeamus in Utrecht and Warschauer Herbst and has already produced several CDs. The ensemble has also been organizing the concert series HWxxC_ at the Alte Feuerwache Cologne for seven years.
