An interactive play by and with Maddy Forst

A clubhouse, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. A group of non-white people and only one chance to be heard. To be heard by the majority, by those who want to deny them their right to exist and to be German. The preparation for the hearing turns into a lively, turbulent negotiation of non-white life realities: For who decides who belongs and who doesn't? What is German?

In the second part, we open the discussion with the audience and talk about the self-image of being a part of German society and history.

Maddy Forst, a new member of the Schauspiel Köln ensemble, was awarded the Folkwang Prize in the DARSTELLENDE category for her final acting production.
