In the Pure Land // Fotografie-Ausstellung von Eddie Ryan

In the organizer's words:

Eddie Ryan, born in Dublin, is a photographer and lecturer in graphic design. He completed the MFA program in photography at the Belfast School of Art at Ulster University. After several stints abroad, he currently lives in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He uses photography as a method to navigate foreign landscapes, cultures and customs.

The highly conceptual exhibition, consisting of 24 photographs taken in Vietnam over the last two years, subtly tells stories of everyday life and culture. In his work, the photographer takes a step back as a non-judgmental observer and tries to show things as he found them.
