»In With The New« Kurzfilmprogramm

Short film program for the exhibition "In With The New" in the Falckenberg Collection of the Deichtorhallen Hamburg in Harburg from 16.11.2024 to 12.1.2025.

Since 1981, the Hamburg Ministry of Culture and Media has honored ten outstanding artists every year, thus focusing on the comprehensive developments in the city's contemporary art landscape. The Hamburg work scholarships are among the most sustainable support measures for young artists in the Hanseatic city. Time and again, this has been confirmed by the subsequent success of the awarded artists. In cooperation with the Falckenberg Collection, the scholarship holders of the last three years are now being presented in an extensive exhibition. "In With The New" includes current works from the categories of film, painting, object, photography and installation, among others.

This short film program complements the exhibition. An evening presentation will guide you through artistic film productions by scholarship holders Al Anders, Kerri Cole, Nurgül Dursun, Steffen Goldkamp, Leonie Kellein, Gulzat Matisakova, Tanita Olbricht, Shafiullah Sahil and Leo Rottmann.
