Index(0.1) Künstlerischer Index Worringer Platz

In the organizer's words:

The exhibition INDEX (0.1) stands for a first, free combination of artistic and performative artifacts that stand in a timeless, formative relationship to Worringer Platz. A homage to the artistic work on Worringer Platz and a way of setting the course for an index. There is an inspirational and destructive energy in the field of tension of this place, an attraction that does something to the people and the city.

With the opening of the new exhibition and performance space FREIBAD, a safe space will unfold on Worringer Platz and create an interdisciplinary platform for artistic visibility. The location, the history and the exciting space offer the potential of innovative off-space exhibition culture beyond Düsseldorf.

The exhibition opening will take place on 11.07.2025 at 6 pm, which will be accompanied by an open studio and set-up phase from 01.07. - 10.07.2025.

Exhibitions, talks and artistic interventions await you in the further course of the event.
There will be performances and actions by WINGS Ballet (Pascal Touzeau & Co), Riad Nassar, the Polyfolie Choir, Frauke Berg (electro/acoustic performance) and Julia Nünnagel (Noise Djane).
The event will conclude with a finissage on 27.07.25 with a live jazz event.
