Jule is the new black star in St. Pauli's rotten music firmament. Kind of a singer/songwriter, but make it punk and there's just this blunt rap influence that's inevitable when you're 25 and have been listening to it a lot for the last ten years. Jule makes music because "my head is very loud and that helps me to deal with everything". The debut EP "Im Regio weinen" will be released on July 12 on Zeitstrafe and comprises six unconventional, moving, (indeed) relentlessly personal songs. Between dubious medication and heartache, straight from the twenty-something life of Hamburger Berg. Everything as always, everything always different - Jule has the mic from now on.
