The Hamburg band PFOERTNER was founded in March 2023 and offers a refreshing contrast to the established German indie sound. With provocative lyrics, musical toughness and unbridled energy, PFOERTNER open doors to new sonic worlds. Their music deals with criticism of capitalism, escapism, sex & love and identity crises - always raw and direct. When PFOERTNER are angry, you can feel it. When they are deeply sad and desperate, you can hear it too. Their sound combines haunting vocals with innovative guitar and bass riffs, accompanied by cello sounds that invite the audience into a unique mystical soundscape.
