Indigo Waves | Support: Véloclub

In the organizer's words:

Sometimes poppy and sophisticated, sometimes melancholic - Indigo Waves moves powerfully and confidently through the whole spectrum of sugary, 80s lo-fi nostalgia and dream pop.

Simple but effective vocal melodies allow the slightly distorted vocals to stand out against the instrumental backdrop. The dichotomous combination of nostalgic dreaminess and catchy pop elements makes every track by Indigo Waves something special.

Véloclub from Oldenburg will be on stage as the evening's support act.

Véloclub are Jonas, Nils, Leo and Felix - somehow founded in 2021 and then really started in 2023. The band was formed in Oldenburg after the four of them already knew each other from other projects and now wanted to realize their joint band.
After the first EP "Love On, Love Off", the second EP "Altbaudecken" followed in July 2024, which was created somewhere between a shared room and a rehearsal room. In terms of sound, the whole thing can be classified as indie pop somewhere between Von Wegen Lisbeth and Peach Pit.
